As always, short of time ...
Thus I leave you with a cross-cultural YouTube "rendition" of Hiroshima doing One Wish, one of my favourite bands playing one of my fave tunes.
Unfortunately SonyBMG who posted the clip have requested that embedding should be disabled so I won't be displaying it here.
Nevertheless, you can view the clip on YouTube since that's all I've got to say tonight, this fine Friday evening.

Mr Studenko
Tomasz Stanko
As promised
The other day when I was "spamming" Tony Hogan's blog (as requested) I mentioned Tomasz Stanko as one of the joys of Polish Jazz. Oddly his name reminds me of the name of a certain policeman in a Cheech and Chong skit from the '70s.
Makes me laugh a little to think of Cheech and Chong as one night at a party in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney there was a certain, rather inebriated individual rocking from side to side on a small stool in the middle of the floor whilst Cheech and Chong wafted from the stereo system. The drunk guy yells out almost in exasperation, "We all know how good dope is, how 'bout some fukn music?"
